Antoniotto, or ANTONIOTTI, GIORGIO, an Italian musician, resided many years in London. He published, in 1760, a work entitled "L'Arte Armonica," or a treatise on the composition of music, originally written in Italian, and translated, under the eve of the author, into English. This, in the opinion of some very good judges, is a work of merit, though it is now seldom referred to. Great expectations were excited on its first publication ; so much so, that all the principal musicians of the time subscribed to it.
