Aubert, musician to the Duke of Bourbon, was engaged at the opera at Paris, as violinist, in 1727. He died in 1758. He composed some sonatas and other music.
AUBERT, son of the preceding was first violin at the opera at Paris till 1771, when he re-tired with a pension. Either he or one of his brothers wrote a refutation of the principles of J. J. Rousseau respecting French music.
