Beck, Francois. An eminent compose] at Bourdeaux. His "Stabat Mater" was performed at Paris in 1783, and highly applauded. He died in 1809, at an advanced age. Four operas b3 Beck, each consisting of six symphonies, wen published at Paris about the year 1776.
