Blasius, Mathteu Fredric, was chef-d'orchestre at the Opera Comique in Paris. He published, in 1796, a method for the clarinet.. He also arranged Haydn's sonatas as quartets, &c., and wrote several operas and instrumental pieces. He died in 1829.
