AKA Constance Dunlap, Woman Detective. This is a pseudo-novel, comprising twelve stories of the title character whom chance turns amateur criminal, and who constantly finds herself matching wits with a somewhat shady detective—apparently out to get her by hook or crook.

Note that this is not a Craig Kennedy, "scientific detective" story. The only mention of him is in the title page reproduced below.
