After the Italian.

Recently, I sneaked after my girl,
and without hinderance
I took her in the Grove; she said:
Lay me, I'll certainly scream!
Then I defiantly threatened: Ha! I intend
to kill whoever disturbs us.
Quiet, she beckoned lispingly, Quiet, Dearest,
So no one hears you.
