Miss Rachel Christine Baird, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roman Baird, of 310 N. Morton avenue, Morton, and Richard Anthony Hammelbacher, 1187 Villanova avenue, Rutledge, son of Mrs. Leona Hammelbacher, of Egg Harbor City, New Jersey, were united in marriage this morning at 11 o'clock in the Episcopal Church of the Atonement, Morton, by the rector, Rev. J. William Powell. The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a maize suit with white accessories and a corsage of white orchids. Miss Jean W. Baird, of Morton, sister of the bride, her only attendant, wore a pale pink suit with whit's accessories and a corsage of orchids. Arthur A, Wheeler, of Springfield, served as best man for Mr. Hammelbacher. Upon their return from a wedding trip to Niagara Falls, Mr. and Mrs. Hammelbacher will reside at 27 South Morton avenue, Morton. The bride attended Lansdowne High School. Mr. Hammelbacher, who is in the landscaping and gardening business, attended Ridley Township High School, served in the U.S. Marine Corps, and is now a member of the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve.
