Those to come from the greatest distance were Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Johnson, of Wahoo, Nebraska, who also attended previous reunions. Mrs. Johnson was formerly Belle Lattin. The genealogist has traced all known Lattins or Lattings of America to a single common ancestor, Richard Lattin, or Latting, who came to Concord, Massachusetts, in 1638, and died at Hempstead, Long Island, in 1673. Many of the Lattins of Western New York, according to the family record, have had in a direct male line all of their ancestors live and buried in the colony or the state of New York for ten or eleven generations. The historian reported that during the past year there were twelve births; ten marriages and ten deaths recorded. Among the deaths were Rev. E. S. Way, of Mayville, on February 19th, and Charles T. Latting, of Waterloo, on May 23d, both of whom attended previous reunions. The following officers were elected: President, Frank H. Lattin, of Albion; vice-president, William S. Lattin, of Odessa; secretary, Mollie Lount Lattin, of Albion; treasurer, Erwin Lattin Tucker; of Rochester; honorary president; Judson Lattin, of Healdsburg, California.
