Executive Order 1063

Mr. Archibald S. Pinkett, of Pennsylvania, may be appointed to a clerkship in the Department of State without examination under the civil-service act and rules. This order is made at the request and upon the recommendation of the Secretary of State, who has knowledge of Mr. Pinkett's fitness from his clerical service under the Secretary while he was a Senator in Congress.
