Executive Order 10692 of December 22, 1956
Amendment of Executive Order No. 9080 to Provide for the Designation of Members of the Joint Mexican-United States Defense Commission by the Secretary of Defense
By virtue of the authority vested in me as President of the United States it is ordered as follows:
Section 1.
The third paragraph of Executive Order No. 9080 of February 27, 1942, authorizing the creation of the Joint Mexican-United States Defense Commission, is hereby amended to read as follows:
Sec. 2.
The amendment made by section 1 hereof shall not be construed as terminating the tenure of any person who is a member, chairman, or alternate member of the United States section of the Commission on the date of this order, but such tenure may be terminated by the Secretary of Defense.
