Executive Order 1100
Appearance
The temporary unclassified laborers in the Customs Service at the port of New York who were appointed without reference to the laborer registers or selected for appointment from the registers out of their regular order, whose names appear upon a list of such persons who have been recommended by the department for retention because of their efficiency with the approval of the Civil Service Commission may be given the status of permanent unclassified laborers. This order is made upon the suggestion and recommendation of the Civil Service Commission.
