Executive Order 1330

Under authority of the Act of Congress, approved July 5, 1884, entitled "An Act to provide for the disposal of abandoned and useless military reservations" (23 Stat. L., 103), the military reservation known as the "Powder House Lot," situate at St. Augustine, in St. Johns County, Florida, about one-half mile southerly from Saint Francis Barracks, having become useless for military purposes, is hereby placed under the control of the Secretary of the Interior for disposition under said Act of Congress, or as may be otherwise provided by law.

The said "Powder House Lot" includes the "Hedrick Lot," or "Powder Magazine Lot," conveyed to the United States by deed from Charles F. Hamblen and wife, dated February 10, 1902, and recorded in Book 2, page 462, of the records of St. Johns County, Florida.
