Dr. David C. Hanawalt, who served as a veterinary inspector in the Bureau of Animal Industry from March 1, 1900, to October 15, 1910, when he resigned voluntarily, may be reinstated, the year limit fixed in the rules being waived, a comparatively short period having elapsed since his resignation.
