Executive Order 3283

I, Woodrow Wilson, President of the United States, under authority conferred upon me by "An act authorizing the President to coordinate or consolidate executive bureaus, agencies, and offices, and for other purposes, in the interest of economy and a more efficient concentration of the Government," approved May 20, 1918, and by virtue of all other powers thereto me enabling do hereby order and direct:


That provision No. 3 of the Executive order of March 24 directing the transfer on June 30, 1920, of the files and records of the United States Bituminous Coal Commission to the Department of the Interior for their consolidation with the files of the United States Fuel Administration be suspended until the conclusion of the work of the United States Anthracite Coal Commission.
