Amends Executive Order 209, March 20, 1903. Amended by Executive Order 1185, April 4, 1910.

624345Executive Order 748 — Amending Civil Service Rules Regarding Mint and Assay Service Positions Excepted from Examination6243451908President of the United States

Schedule A, Subdivision II, paragraphs 6 and 7 of the civil-service rules, are hereby revoked and a new paragraph, to be numbered 6, is inserted, to read as follows, the subsequent paragraphs to be renumbered accordingly:

  1. One private secretary or confidential clerk to the superintendent, and one cashier in each mint or assay office.
