Schedule A, Subdivision II, paragraph 4, of the civil-service rules, which at present excepts from the requirement of examination:

In the New York customs district: One paymaster; stitch counters,

is hereby amended to read as follows:

In the New York customs district: Two paymasters; stitch counters.
