Executive Order 922

Subdivision III, section 3, of the regulations to govern the employment of unskilled laborers in federal offices outside of Washington, D. C., is hereby amended by the addition of the following words: "but eligible registers may be extended for a longer time by direction of the Civil Service Commission, when such action is deemed necessary in the interests of the service."


The amended section will read as follows:

Sec. 3. The period of eligibility shall be one year from the date of entry upon the register; but eligible registers may be extended for a longer time by the direction of the Civil Service Commission, when such action is deemed necessary in the interests of the service.
