EXECUTIVE ORDER,
No. 11


Upon the recommendation of the provincial board of Zamboanga in its resolution numbered two hundred sixty-two series of nineteen hundred and twenty-four, as amended by resolution numbered seven hundred and thirty-five, same series, concurred in by the Director of the Bureau of Non-Christian Tribes and the Secretary of the Interior, and pursuant to the provisions of section sixty-eight of the Administrative Code of nineteen hundred and seventeen, the municipality of Dapitan is hereby divided into ten barrios to consist the following:

  1. Barrio of Bailimango which shall consist of the sitios of Tag-olo, Guinputlan, Carang, Ponong, Bailimango, Cavite, and Islas de Silinob and Aliguay.
  2. Barrio of Dampalan which shall consist of the sitios of Dampalan, eastern part of Potungan, Danao, Loang, Dapitan, Sacro, and Opao.
  3. Barrio of Dapitan which shall consist of the sitios of Banonong, Dawo, Potol, Bagting, Lawa-an, Pitosan, Ambogok, Singkol, Lumanao, Taguilon, Canlocani, Tipsong, Layawan, Kalomokso, Sinonok, Lamatik, Pulawan, Baboy, Totua, eastern part of Sulangon, Boton, Lajian, and Nipa-Nipa.
  4. Barrio of Diwa-an which shall consist of the sitios of Diwa-an, Tamion, Uyan, Tipay, northern part of Sulangon, Sipaing, Buwaan, Tubig, and Kabaoyan.
  5. Barrio of Ilaya which shall consist of the sitios of Ilaya, Tiwalos, Ba-ao, Payan, Solog, Napa-an, Barita, Liop, Bononao, Cuambal, Tinga-an, and Palalanan.
  6. Barrio of Libay which shall consist of the sitios of Talolok, Sinipay, Canin, Libay, Nasipang, and eastern part of Panganuran.
  7. Barrio of Nangka which shall consist of the sitios of Taktakan, Sibaca, Balobohan, Nangka, Manla, and southern part of Casul.
  8. Barrio of Marapung which shall consist of the sitios of Marapung, Tolon, Potungan eastern part, Bonglongan, Napilan, Mapang, Casul southern part, Sorokan, and southern part of Uyan.
  9. Barrio of Sawang which shall consist of the sitios of Inalad, Urap, Da-o, Kabunga-an, Puntasilla, Sawang, Latungon, and Panganuran.
  10. Barrio of Sibutad which shall consist of the sitios of Sibutad, Sipalok, Mangiinlasub, Sibulok, Lapinon, Kibit, Aguirre, and northern part of Uyan.

The seat of municipal government shall be at the barrio of Dapitan.

The municipality of Dapitan shall consist of the territory bounded as follows:

On the north by the sea, on the east by the line separating Misamis from the Province of Zamboanga, on the south by parallel 8° 25′ north latitude to its intersection with the meridian 123° 30′ east longitude, and on the southwest by line drawn from said intersection in a northwesterly direction passing through the peak of Mount Limones; thence to the peak of Mount Dicayas, thence to the peak of Puting-bato Hill, thence to the primary station No. 143 of Dipolog Cadastre No. 85 Extension, to the center of the mouth of the Sicayag River, including in addition all islands within the three-marine-league limit and the islands of Aliguay and Silinog.

The boundaries of the municipality of Dapitan given in section twenty-six of the Administrative Code of the Department of Mindanao and Sulu are hereby amended accordingly.

The reorganization herein made shall take effect on April first, nineteen hundred and twenty-five.
