EXECUTIVE ORDER,
No. 68


Upon the recommendation of the provincial board of the Mountain Province, concurred in by the Director of the Bureau of Non-Christian Tribes and the Secretary of the Interior, and pursuant to the provisions of section sixty-eight of the Revised Administrative Code, I hereby separate the Allacapan country from the municipal district of Tauit, subprovince of Apayao, Mountain Province, and organize the same into an independent municipal district under the name of Allacapan, with the seat of the municipal district government in the barrio of Allacapan.

This newly organized municipal district of Allacapan shall consist of the barrios and sitios of Sirayao, Natulangan, Capanikian, Zitalaoan, Cataratan, Tulong, Cabaggaoan, Batosabel, Lamao, Cabayo, Nanaragan, Marco, Burut, Binobongan, Namacayang, Caccab, Capaggan, Laggac, Tarol, Camogaoan, Bisang, Lelo, Caratay, Maloyo, Alopi, Pacac, Allacapan, Anmatalan, Nappangan, Bulo, Malaram, Sinottolan, Matucay, Lijo, Tamboli, Backiling, Cabaritan, Casicallan, Nabbaoan, Gagadangan, Anol, Napatoctoc, Tubel, Maguin-inangot, and Pinanaoan. Its boundary is as follows: Beginning where the meridian one hundred and twenty-one degrees twenty-eight minutes intersects the north boundary of the Mountain Province; thence south on this same meridian until it intersects the Sinandungan River; thence down this river in an easterly direction to the eastern boundary of the Mountain Province; and thence along this boundary northerly and westerly to the point of beginning, using the Bureau of Coast and Geodetic Survey map of Northern Luzon, Western Sheet, published in nineteen hundred and twenty-two, as authority.

The municipal district of Tauit shall consist of its present territory less the territory comprised in the municipal district of Allacapan.

The separation and organization herein made shall take effect on July first, nineteen hundred and twenty-seven.
