"Fair Susanna", also known by its first line "Ask if yon damask rose be sweet", is an air from the oratorio Susanna by George Frideric Handel. The libretto of this operetta is traditionally attributed to Newburgh Hamilton, but there is some evidence that it may have been written by Moses Mendes.
