Be it Remembered that hertofore to wit on the Nineteenth day of September in the and eight hundred and seventy-four. Albert Salter an Executor named in the Last Will and Testament of Abraham Salter late of the seventy of New York deceased appeared in Then Court before Robert le Hutchings Surrogate of the County of New York and made application to have the said last Will and Testament which relates to both Real and Personal Estate proved and on such application the Surrogate did ascertain by satisfactory evidence that Albert Salter, Catherine Rosendale, Margaret Simonson, Marie Fitch, William Salter, Abraham Salter Jr., John & Batter & Ann le Haven and Chas. M. Waterbury evere the only hire and of and next of kin of said deceased and said Catherine Rosendale Margaret Simonson Maria Fitch William Salter, Abraham Salter Jr. John I. Salter, Ann E. Haren lehas. M. Waterbury haring naived the service of a Citation and consented that the cavid Will be admitted to probate forthwith and Albert Salter having made application as expontor and all being of of full age and on that day no one appearing to oppose the probate I said Mil such proceedings were thereupon had of afterwards that said Surrogate took the proof of said Hill hereinafter set forth and sepon this nineteenth day of November in the year he の adjudged said Will to be a valid Will of Real and Personal Estate and the proofs thereof to be sufficient which said last Will and Testament and proofs is to eays
In the Name of God, Amen, are as follows, follows, that I, Abraham Salter of the Town of Middletown County, Richmond, State of New York being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make publish and declare this manner and form following to wit.
- I. It is my will that all the debts due by me at the time of my death as well as my funeral expenses be promptly paid by my executors hereinafter named.
- II. I give and bequeath to Charles Waterbury, only son of my daughter Sarah Lenoxson, deceased, the full and just sum of five hundred dollars.
- III. I give bequeath and devise all the rest residue and remainder of my estate whether real, personal, or mixed and wheresoever situated to my eight children Albert Salter, Ann Eliza Havens, Abraham Salter, Catherine Rosendale, Margaret Simonson, John I. Salter, William Salter and Maria Fitch to be equally divided between them share and share alike.
- IV. I hereby appoint Albert Salter & Abraham Salter Jr. my sons and William Fitch my son-in-law executors of this, my last Will and Testament.
- V. I hereby revoke all former wills by me made.
In Witness Whereof. I have hereunto set my hand and seal this third day of January, one thousand eight hundred and seventy.

County of New York, to out Enoch P. Breed of beity of New York being duly sworn as a witness in the above entitled matter and examined on behalf of the applicant to prove said Will, says was well acquainted with Abraham Salter now deceased. I knew the above named decedent for a short time prior to the execution of said Mill. I The subscription of the name of aid decedent to the instrument now shown to me and offered for probate as his last Will and Testament and bearing date the third day of furmary in the year one those and night Hundred and beroulip was made by the advedunt. seventy at the City of New York in the presence of myself and Albert B. Cory the other subscribing witness. At the time of such subscription the said decedent declared the said instrument et subscribed by him to be his last Will and Testament and I thereupon signed my name as a witness at the end of said instrument at the request of said decedent and in his presence.
