Mary P. Hamlin and George Arliss

This 1917 play by Mary P. Hamlin and George Arliss (who also starred as the title character) follows the United States's first Treasury Secretary, Alexander Hamilton, as he attempts to financially reinvigorate the nation. His mission is opposed by staunch advocates of smaller government, including those willing to employ immoral means to destroy him.
