Suggestions

May I suggest ensuring option Preferences/Editing/Preview—Use live preview (experimental) be disabled, at least if the user has any kind of suspected javascript related problems. The scripts controlled by this option appear to be triggered very late in the browser display sequence and can in fact override screen effects already established by user code. (For the technically minded this affects scripts dependent upon the addOnloadHook() mechanism. Perhaps that is obsoleted itself now?) AuFCL (talk) 07:25, 28 July 2014 (UTC)
