When I’m at play
Father and Mother
Always say:
‘Be good!
I wouldn’t do
This, that and t’other,
if I were you!

‘But, Mother,
If you were me,
You’d climb that tree,
If you were me.
(Just try and see)
You would!

Oh, bother!
‘If I were you’
Just isn’t true!
