Immorality Act, 1927/Versions

Various versions of the Immorality Act, 1927, exist:

• as enacted on 29 March 1927 and as came into force on 30 September 1927.
• as amended on 22 May 1931 by the Immigration (Amendment) Act, 1931.
• as amended on 12 May 1950 by the Immorality Amendment Act, 1950.
• as amended on 6 July 1955 by the General Law Amendment Act, 1955.

It was repealed on 12 April 1957 by the Immorality Act, 1957.
