"Ticknor's Guide to the White Mountains", more properly titled The White Mountains: a handbook for travellers was edited by Author:Moses Forster Sweetser for Osgood's American Handbooks. It was originally published by James R. Osgood and Company until they went bankrupt. Then it was published by Ticknor and Company starting with the 7th Edition (1886). This book usually cites it as Ticknor's Guide, but there is also one Ticknor's Guide. In both cases I'll wikilink Guide and leave Ticknor's unlinked.
