Spelling

• If you see the word "spinage", this is not a typo and should not be annotated {{SIC}}. This is an obsolete spelling of "spinach".

Recipes

For consistent formatting, please use the following syntax for formatting the recipes in this book.

1. Recipe title: centered, {{larger}}; precede by an {{anchor}} using the recipe number
2. Yield: centered
3. Ingredients: {{plainlist}}, in a single column (don't try to preserve the multi-column format); put the ingredients in the left column first, then the ones in the right
4. Instruction headings: (eg. "Preparation" and "Remarks") bold, regular font size
5. Links within a recipe referring to another (eg. "Proceed as in No. 20") should link the recipe number ("No. 20") by using the syntax:
   • Different chapter: [[../<chapter name>#No20|No. 20]], where <chapter name> refers to the chapter name in the transcluded work (refer to the table of contents, if need be.) The link will appear red in the page namespace but should work in the main namespace since it is a relative link.
   • Same chapter: [[#No20|No. 20]]

• Between recipes, use a hard return-rule-hard return like so:

• If a page starts with a recipe, you must first put a <includeonly> section with the recipe separator. This will guarantee that a recipe separator will be transcluded for consistent formatting in the main namespace. The includeonly tag will make the separator not be displayed in the page namespace:
