Internal Security Act
Appearance
- Suppression of Communism Act, 1950 (No. 44 of 1950), an Apartheid South African Act that was later renamed as the Internal Security Act, 1950.
- Internal Security Act 1960 (Act 18 of 1960), an Act enacted by the Parliament of Malaya that provided for the internal security of later Malaysia, most notably authorizing preventive detention without trial.
- Revised as [Act 82] and repealed by the Security Offences (Special Measures) Act 2012 [Act 747] in Malaysia, but remains current legislation in Singapore.
- Internal Security Act, 1982 (No. 74 of 1982), an Apartheid South African Act that replaced the Suppression of Communism Act, 1950. Repealed by the Protection of Constitutional Democracy against Terrorist and Related Activities Act, 2004 (No. 33 of 2004).
