Ang orihinal ng simbahan na yari sa eskombro ay ipinatayo ni Padre Fransisco Diez noong mga taong 1710 bilang parangal sa mahal na birhen ng natividad. Translation (English)
[edit]The original church is at the rubble created by Father Fransisco Diez in 1710 with a magnification with the love of the mother of nativity. The church was managed by Franciscans in 1768. The church caught fire in 1773 and was rebuilt bigger by Father Roque de Osma in 1781. In 1853, the circle of the bell was created by Father Juan Navarette. The design of the cross was imprinted by Father Antonio Sanchez in 1873. In 1887, the roof was recreated and bought with a metal texture by Father Arsenio Figueroa.
In 1939, an administration was applied to the church by the Franciscans, known as the first Filipino kura parish, managed by Father Fransisco Palomeras as the second floor of the tower.
