WILL WRITE BOOK IN PRISON CELL

PORTLAND, Ore., Sept. 17.—S. A. D. Puter, the Oregon land fraud operator, who is now serving a two years' sentence in the Multnomah county jail announced today his intention of publishing a book, giving a complete history of the sensational land fraud transactions on the Pacific coast for the past quarter of a century.
With that object in view he has arranged with Horace Stevens, a local newspaperman, to collaborate with him.
