Love and Grief
OR THE DEATH OF THE
SUTHERLANDS;

A Balled founded on fact, and contains the affecting ſtory of william Earl of sutherland and his Counteſs. Having loſt an only ſon they endeavoured to diſpel their grief by a journey to Bath. They had been there but a few weeks, when the Earl was taken ill of a fever, during which the Counteſs attended him twenty-one days and nights; and ſhe died, perfectly worn out with fatigue and watching, in June, 1766, and his lordſhip a few days after. It appeared, from the inſcriptions on their coffins, that the earl was only 31, the counteſs 26.

To which is added,
