Barrington-Kennett, Vincent Hunter, M.A., LL.M. (scholar), Trin. Coll., Camb., 1871 (wrangler 1867), late lieut. royal Elthorne light infantry militia, commissioner (under Geneva Convention) of sick and wounded during Franco-German, Carlist, Servian, and Turco-Russian wars, received various decorations and medals, assumed the additional surname of Barrington by royal licence 1878, a student of the Inner Temple 10 Nov., 1866 (then aged 22), called to the bar 18 Nov., 1872 (eldest son of late Capt. Vincent Frederick Kennett, of the Manor House, Dorchester, Oxon); born 3 Sept., 1844; mar. 12 Jan., 1878, Alicia Georgette, yst. dau. of late George Glas Sandeman, of Westfield, Hayling Island.
