Bayley, Francis, judge of county courts (circuit No. 44) since 20 Nov., 1849, author of a Treatise on Fines and Recoveries and editor of fifth edition of Bayley on Bills, a student of the Middle Temple 12 June, 1822, called to the bar 15 June, 1827 (youngest son of late Rt. Hon. Sir John Bayley, Bart., one of H.M.'s judges); born 6 Feb., 1803; married 1st, 31 Aug., 1830, Elizabeth, eldest dau. of late Alexander Macdonald, Esq., of Westminster; she died 9 April, 1838; he married 2ndly, 17 April, 1854, Charlotte, dau. of late M. Frederick Roulet, of Peseux, near Neuchatel; she died 15 Dec., 1873 (see Foster's Baronetage).
