Beaumont, Joseph, parliamentary and equity draftsman, chief justice of British Guiana 1863-8, a student of Lincoln's Inn 1 Sept., 1848, went to the Inner Temple 26 May, 1852, where he was called to the bar 7 June, 1852 (eldest son of Rev. Dr. Beaumont, of Bristol); born , ; married 21 Feb., 1859, Mary, 2nd dau. of late William Day, Esq., of Hadow House, Sussex.
