Bowen, James Bevan, M.A. Worcester Coll., Oxon, M.P. Pembrokeshire 1866-8 and 1876-80, J.P., D.L. cos. Carmarthen and Pembroke (sheriff 1862), J.P. Cardiganshire, a student of the Inner Temple 23 May, 1850 (then aged 22), called to the bar 26 Jan., 1856 (eldest son of George Bowen, Esq., of Llwyngwair, Pembrokeshire); born , 1828; married , 1857, Harriette, dau. of late Rev. John Standley, M.A., of Southoe, Hunts, and has issue.
