Boyd, Rev. Sydney Adolphus, M.A., B.C.L., Worcester Coll., Oxon, 1882 (2nd class in jurisprudence), curate of Trinity, Hampstead, since 1880, a student of the Middle Temple 27 Jan., 1877, 2nd class scholarship in international and constitutional law, went to the Inner Temple 14 Oct., 1880 (then aged 23), where he was called to the bar 17 Nov., 1880 (eldest son of Lt.-Genl. Brooke Boyd); born 7 Jan., 1857; married 29 Sept., 1881, Rosalie, youngest dau. of John Smith, Esq., late of Chigwell, Essex, dec., and has issue.
