Braddell, Thomas, C.M.G. 1882, attorney-general, and a member of the executive and legislative councils of the Straits Settlements 1867-82, entered the civil service of that government 1849, Crown counsel 1864-7, acting colonial secretary 1868, 1874-5, a student of Gray's Inn 14 April, 1858, called to the bar 10 June, 1859 (eldest surviving son of George William Braddell, Esq., of Rahingrany, co. Wexford); born , 1823; married , 1852, Anne, dau. of late William Lee, Esq., of Longeaton, Notts, and has issue.
