Bromby, Charles Hamilton, B.A., S.C.L. St. Edmund Hall, Oxon, attorney-general of Tasmania 1876–8, member of the bar of New South Wales, and member of the Executive Council of Tasmania, educated at Cheltenham Coll., editor of Spille's Law of Master and Servant, 3rd edn., a student of the Inner Temple 7 June, 1864 (then aged 20), called to the bar 18 Nov., 1867 (2nd son of Rt. Rev. Charles Henry Bromby, lord bishop of Tasmania); born 17 June, 1843.
