Bruce-Pryce, Alan Cameron, M.A. Exeter Coll., Oxon, B.A. 1859, assumed the additional name of Pryce 1872, J.P. Glamorgan, a student of Lincoln's Inn 13 Jan., 1858 (then aged 21), called to the bar 30 April, 1862 (eldest son of John Wyndham Bruce, Esq., of Duffryn St. Nicholas, co. Glamorgan); born 18 Feb., 1836; married 1st, 15 July, 1858, Louisa, only child of Lieut.-Col. John Henry Slade; she died 11 June, 1868; he married 2ndly, 25 Sept., 1873, Anna Mary Synnot, elder dau. of George Woods Maunsell, Esq., of Dublin, and has issue (see Foster's Peerage, B. Aberdare).
