Napoleon III for A Treatise on International Fishery Laws 1866, formerly lieut. 45th foot and capt. Kent artillery militia, educated at Eton, a student of the Inner Temple 11 Nov., 1862 (then aged 22), called to the bar 26 Jan., 1866 (only son of Henry Hancock, Esq., sometime president of Royal College of Surgeons England); born 20 Nov., 1839; married 20 March, 1861, Hannah, dau. of late Capt. Thomas Jacob Settle, R.N., and has issue.
