Westmorland, high sheriff 1852, a student of the Middle Temple 21 Jan., 1837, called to the bar 24 April, 1840 (only son of Joseph Burn, of Orton Hall, Westmorland, gentleman, dec.); born 16 Nov., 1811; married 26 July, 1836, Elizabeth, dau. of William Cuthbert, of Beaufront Castle, Northumberland.
