Chambers, George Frederick, F.R.A.S., associate King's Coll., London, a member of the South-eastern circuit, an assistant inspector of the Local Government Board 1872, author of Public Health and Government Board, of Digest of the Law relating to Municipal Corporations, Law of Rates and Rating, a student of the Inner Temple 19 Oct., 1863 (then aged 22), called to the bar 6 June, 1866 (only son of late Richard Chambers, M.D., of London); born 18 Oct., 1841; married 12 Sept, 1867, Henrietta Cecilia, younger dau. of Rev. William Robert Newbolt, vicar of Somerton, Somerset, and granddau. of Sir John Henry Newbolt, chief justice Madras.
