Channell, Arthur Moseley, M.A., Trin. Coll., Camb., 1864, scholar 1859, wrangler 2nd class classics 1861, a member of the South-eastern circuit, educated at Harrow (Lyon scholar 1857), a student of the Inner Temple 24 Jan., 1859 (then aged 20), called to the bar 6 June, 1863 [only surviving son of (Hon.) Baron Channell, of H.M.'s Court of Exchequer]; born 13 Nov., 1838 ; married 1st, 5 Sept., 1865 Beatrice Ernestine, 4th dau. of late Alexander Wadham Wyndham, Esq., of West Lodge, Dorset, and Borrishoole, co. Mayo; she died 17 Dec, 1871; he married 2ndly, 27 Dec, 1877, Constance Helena, only dau. of Walter Blackett Trevelyan, Esq., of the Oaks, Hendon, Middlesex, bar.-at-law.
