Chevall-Tooke, Charles, assumed the additional surname of Chevall by royal licence 1859, J.P. Sussex 1847, a student of the Middle Temple 21 Jan., 1826, called to the bar 30 Jan., 1833 (2nd son of Thomas Tooke, Esq., of London, F.R.S.); born 19 Jan., 1808; married 24 Sept., 1840, Maria, dau. of John Cayley, Esq., of Wallington, Surrey, and has an only child (see Foster's Baronetage, Cayley).
