Coleridge, Hon. Bernard John Seymour, M.A. Trin. Coll., Oxon, secretary to Lord Coleridge, lord chief justice of England, since 1881, junior standing counsel to Bristol Joint Stock Bank 1884, a member of the Western circuit, a student of the Middle Temple 24 Oct., 1872, called to the bar 13 June, 1877 (eldest son of Rt Hon. John Duke, Lord Coleridge, lord chief justice of England); born 19 Aug., 1851; married 3 Aug., 1876, his cousin, Mary Alethea, eldest dau. of Rt Rev. John Fielder Mackarness, D.D., bishop of Oxford, and has issue (see Foster's Peerage).
