Dryden, Alfred Erasmus, M.A., Trin. Coll., Oxon, 1847, from Winchester Coll., equity and parliamentary draftsman and conveyancer, heir presumptive to the baronetcies of his brother Sir Henry, a student of the Middle Temple 16 April, 1844, called to the bar 28 May, 1847 (2nd son of Rev. Sir Henry Dryden, Bart., of Canons Ashby, Hants); born 14 Oct., 1822; married 16 May, 1849, Frances Isabella, only dau. of late Rev. John Christian Curwen, rector of Harrington, Cumberland, and has issue (see Foster's Baronetage).
