Frere, George Edward, J.P. Norfolk, F.R.S., matric. Edinburgh Univ. from the Charterhouse, a student of the Middle Temple 6 June, 1846, called to the bar 8 Nov., 1851 (eldest surviving son of Edward Frere, of Bitton, co. Glouc.); born 29 Jan., 1807; married 3 Dec., 1840, Isabella, 2nd dau. of William Tudor, of Kelston Knoll, Somerset, and has issue (see Foster's Baronetage).
