Fry, Danby Palmer, legal adviser to Local Government Board 1877-83, inspector 1871-3, assistant secretary 1873-7, author of Lunacy Laws, Vaccination Acts, etc., a student of Lincoln's Inn 17 April, 1845 (then aged 26), called to the bar 30 Jan., 1851 (2nd son of Alfred Augustus Fry, of London, merchant); born 1 Dec., 1818.
