Gael, Samuel Higgs, J.P. co. Glouc., altered the spelling of his surname, author of Book of Precedents of Examinations, Orders of Removal, etc., in Parochial Settlements, Analogy between Legal and General Composition, a student of Lincoln's Inn 26 April, 1830 (then aged 24), called to the bar 11 May, 1835 (only son of John Gale, late of Charlton King's, co. Glouc., gentleman, dec.); born , 1806; married , 1837, Anne, dau. of George Hassard, Esq., of Skea, co. Fermanagh, and has issue.
