Coll., Camb., 1870, attorney-general to H.R.H. the Prince of Wales since 1877, a member of the South-eastern circuit, a student of Lincoln's Inn 15 Nov., 1862 (then aged 19), called to the bar 17 Nov., 1866, admitted a hamster of the Middle Temple ad eundem 13 May, 1872, Q.C. 2 June, 1881, and a bencher 7 Nov., 1884 (2nd son of late Vice-Chancellor Sir Charles Hall); born 3 Aug., 1843.
